We’re certain you have no clue why pan and pot handles have holes in them. You may actually use them to hang the items once they’ve been washed. This ensures that they are entirely dry. You may also put the stirring spoon or ladle there to keep it sanitary while cooking!

Winter Hat Pom-Poms
Those small pom-poms on top of winter hats are common, but what are they for? This appears to be a Scandinavian invention. Knitters used to make pom-poms at the point where the seams were gathered. This is no longer required, but it has been left on.
