What exactly are those loops on shirts for? It appears that this practice began in the Navy. Of course, on ships and boats, there isn’t much in the way of closet space. Instead, sailors used hooks and nails to hang their clothing. At the gym, college students used to do the same thing back in the day!

At the bottom of your toothpaste tube, there’s a strong possibility you’ll see a colored block. The color could be red, black, green, or blue. What are they for, exactly? These marks are known as “eye marks,” and they’re significant because they serve as pointers for assembly line equipment to cut and fold the packaging correctly.
